Imagine being a US Army combat photographer during the Vietnam War. Serving as an Army Drill sergeant, teaching hand-to-hand combat at the Range School, earning a Bronze Star, an Air Medal, a Purple Heart, a battlefield commission and commanding a signal company—and then turning all of that into a writing career.

Our guest today is Marvin J. Wolf. He has co-authored books, written articles and even a few screenplays. His mystery series debuted with the first installment, “For Whom the Shofar Blows,” and has since added several titles. His latest, “The Zombie Deception” is the second in his new series, the Chelmin and Spaulding CID Mysteries.
