Karma—what does it have to do with Christmas? More perhaps than you’d think. After all, cautionary tales around the holidays are something that we find in stories like It’s A Wonderful Life or A Christmas Carol. There is a sense during the holidays that things should be put right. More to the point, that people who are lost can be shown the way, and that karma is real. What do I mean by karma? Karma is the overriding sense of order in the universe, the idea that things happen for a reason, and that there really is purpose.
The book featuring on today’s show touches on these ideas and more. It is called Christmas Karma. It is by the prolific author Gerald Everett Jones who is here with us now on Books That Make You.
